Have you ever heard the phrase in your company that ‘everybody is in sales’? We are all selling something, and it is an important skill set. Every company needs new business coming in through the door, and a great sales function is the key to that. It doesn't take a magic wand to improve your sales, it just takes a simple framework consisting of a great sales manager, a simple marketing plan that includes targets, a clear sales process, a defined sales approach, good management of the numbers and a team that is hitting your minimum standards. If you do those things, your sales department and team will really take off, it’s that simple.
