In the medical world, I'm an internist and primary care doctor at Johns Hopkins. I see patients, do research on decision-making, uncertainty, and patient-doctor communication; I teach with residents; and I write about the complexities of healthcare. In the non-medical world, I write in English and Yiddish, translating as well between both languages. I publish poetry, short stories, and essays/journalism.

50/50 is a series of hour long interviews with controversial subjects. The aim of this show is to conduct those interviews in the most biased manner possible...in both directions. After graduating college in 1996, Cavan moved to Lafayette for a job as a television news reporter. He'd spend the next 7 years learning to love ...

For the ridiculous. For the absurd. CONFIRMATION BIAS will entertain, force you to argue, and most importantly, make sense of and improve upon the human condition. Pack a lunch - let's go. ***The views expressed in CONFIRMATION BIAS are the author’s personal views and are not endorsed by my employer nor do they represent the vi ...

The Ambassadors bring that tendency to the forefront by exploring what’s happening in all sports (whether popular or not) and asking the question “Was your bias confirmed?” The homeboy hilarity, unabashed opinions and fervent sports enthusiasm of The League Ambassadors is running all thru this 30 minute show.

Admissible Bias (A/B) takes on subjects, ideas, and even conspiracy theories each episode. They hit categories from the sports world, pop culture, music, entertainment, and more. Rick and Jay both want to push the culture forward, but how they go about it can lead to a differentiation of ideas. Their highly opinionated, SEO educated, and social media substantiated views always show us that there are multiple sides and layers to every story. Rick and Jay lean into the bias, sprinkle in their ...
