He attended Concordia College in Austin, Texas and Concordia Senior College in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he received his BA Degree in Theology & Social Psychology in Maye 1971. Larry Rice was ordained through Calvary Temple in Fort Wayne on December 12, 1971. In 1987 he was honored with a Doctor of Divinity Degree from McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois.
