It is important to live the truth first because if you live it, speaking it will have a greater impact on listener ...

Golf 360 came about from a theory I wrote a decade ago called The Golf Paradigm. It is something I came up with after spending over 30 years in golf and meeting a lot of exceptional people. Some of them were within the industry while others were outside of it but they all had phenomenal information that helped me improve. Whether it was a world-renowned coach, genius club fitter or engineer, ground breaking health professional or therapist, fantastic mental coach or psychologist or someone t ...

The audio Bible stories in this podcast were written and produced by me, Gavin Owen. I spent seven years as a full-time Christian schools worker, regularly visiting over 30 primary schools across my home county of Wiltshire in England. I took over 1,400 school assemblies, telling the Bible stories that I wrote to over 10,000 children. At the end of this time, I decided to share my stories with the wider world, hoping that they would be of use to other Christians teaching and sharing the Bibl ...

Microtonal Music is music using more than 12 tones per octave. I compose music using Csound and a preprocessor I wrote in Turbo Pascal. I post small updates as the compositions are being created, and a few final versions once I'm done. I strive towards music that could be played if we had the instruments capable of playing the notes. Think of it as "fake but accurate".

A new series in which each week I read a chapter from a novel I wrote as a teenager 15 years ago, and afterwards talk about it to see how little I have changed since then. This is a story of an alien invasion taking place on Earth directly after the First World War, a mix of Blackadder Goes Forth, Independence Day, and Un Chien Andalou. Yes, those natural bedfellows. And as you can imagine, this was not a novel that was published. Here, I present the awfulness of this novel for your amusemen ...

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936) has been called the “prince of paradox.” Time magazine observed of his writing style: “Whenever possible Chesterton made his points with popular sayings, proverbs, allegories—first carefully turning them inside out.” His prolific and diverse output included journalism, philosophy, poetry, biography, Christian apologetics, fantasy and detective fiction. The title of Chesteron’s 1910 collection of essays was inspired by a title given to him two years earlie ...
