Back in the day, a major sitcom doing a gay episode was a big deal. A proper gay episode would get headlines, but it would get the attention of two young guys who were still figuring things out — sexuality-wise and culture-wise. Gayest Episode Ever has screenwriter Glen Lakin and stay-at-home journalist Drew Mackie going through the great and not-so-great gay episodes of sitcoms past.

"A Happy Boy" was written in 1859 and 1860. It is, in my estimation, Bjørnson's best story of peasant life. In it the author has succeeded in drawing the characters with remarkable distinctness, while his profound psychological insight, his perfectly artless simplicity of style, and his thorough sympathy with the hero and his surroundings are nowhere more apparent. This view is sustained by the great popularity of "A Happy Boy" throughout Scandinavia. (From the Preface) Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson ...

THE WIZARD SCROLL is serialized sword & sorcery. Tales of high fantasy, of trials and triumph, of quests both epic and mundane, as well as the occasional musical number. The realm of Yyrgsland is filled to the brim with all manner of folk, and boy let me tell you, the escapades that these crazy characters get themselves into would perhaps have made even the late and great Tolkien himself snicker in delight. Four young adults explore relationships in today’s world through the millennial outlook with a tongue in cheek approach. Along the way, they find out that dating is never what it seems, people go to extreme lengths to find “the one,” and that the world’s view and definition of modern romance isn’t what they thought it to be. Admittedly, our first few episodes are a little rough, but we found our voice early and have been producing great episodes weekly now.

Kate Vlasek and Lauryn Hunter are two women in their mid-thirties who generally geek out about all things pop culture, particularly nostalgic pop culture. First, it’s a micro-generation Kate and Lauryn have identified with between Generation X and Millennials. This micro-generation has also been called the Oregon Trail Ge ...

Kim is a fabulous adventure story set in India during the former British Empire. Taking time off from his role as the traveling companion of an aged Tibetan lama, the boy is trained as a spy, matches wits with various evildoers, and wins out in the end.
