Are you considering a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine? If so, then this podcast is for you! In this episode we chat with Dr. David Doiron, an experienced chiropractor and sports rehabilitation specialist who has been in private practice since 2012.
We talk about David’s undergraduate years at UNH where he majored in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and was also a NCAA Division 1 Track Athlete where he specialized in the Decathlon.
We also discuss what chiropractic school was like, what it was like for David to simultaneously earn both a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master’s in Sports Science & Rehabilitation, and finally how David was able to open up his own private practice.
We loved our conversation with David because he was quite honest about his journey. We also learned so many interesting things like how David likes to help people achieve pain relief without surgery, and how David helps his patients to move in the places that they need to move and helps to stabilize them in the places that they need to be stabilized, and we touched on posture and much more.
Dr. Doiron has a great approach in that he figures out the patient’s goals and then works with them to achieve their goals. He prefers 30-minute visits with patients so he can really get to know them and offer a more comprehensive approach. We even discussed what David is doing to keep his office covid-safe.
Dr. Doiron was a such a fun guest. He has a great sense of humor and is very smart. We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did!
