Tomory is a painter's painter and I felt like I was hanging out in his studio talking about his painting process, life, and where the two overlap. From talking about how he works in his studio, to how time constraints from having kids can push your work into weird unknown places, it was a pleasure to hear about his process. Tomory recently had a show at Phillip Martin in L.A. You can read a review of the show in the Los Angeles Times here.
