Peter and Gary explore a little-known chapter of WW2 history, the raid on the Lamba Doria artillery battery during the Allied invasion of Sicily in July 1943. In this well-orchestrated action, highly trained SAS soldiers overcame the Italian defences to pave the way for an amphibious assault on the beaches of south-eastern Sicily.
