Whether you are new to the world of herbal medicine, or know quite a bit, learning about plants can sometimes feel enjoyable and wonderful, yet at times might be tedious and overwhelming. Several years ago, I met an herbal teacher who's been an avid advocate of learning with your heart. He's here with us today to tell you more.

Articulate, charismatic and passionate, Sajah Popham is the founder of The School of Evolutionary Herbalism in Southern Oregon. Along with his degree in herbal sciences from Bastyr University, Sajah has studied with a wide variety of clinical herbalists, medical astrologers and practicing alchemists.

Some of the major takeaways from our discussion:

  1. What is Evolutionary herbalism and how each stage of evolution enhances our relationship with plants
  2. How energetic architecture highlights our ability to experience and learn more (rather than memorize facts) about nature and plants
  3. Why elements allow us to perceive patterns in our own bodies and ways to applying this to healing
