On this wonderful disappearance day of Bhakti Vinod and Gadadhar Pandit, what can you understand? How by associating with devotees by following in footsteps of great souls, by making Krishna first in our life, we can bring in the true meaning of living and dying. In fact, Bhakti Vinod Takur wrote in inscription on the samadhi mandir of Srila Haridas Takur which is very appropriate to repeat today on his disappearance day. He wrote that “he reasons ill, who tells that Vaisnavas die,” because Vaisnavas, they live and they die simply to spread the glories of the holy name. For such Vaisnavas, there is no death. Through the sound vibrations of their glories they live forever. The soul is eternal. Those who dedicate their lives on the path of bhakti there is no death. Every moment we come closer to eternal life. So, therefore there is no fear of anything but offending the devotees and forgetting Krishna. Devotees do not feel any material hardships nor do they feel death itself. To forget death is spiritual death, to remember Krishna is eternal life.
