Show Notes

“I don’t go by the rule book. I lead from the heart, not the head.” — Princess Diana

It’s nothing short of amazing how Marlene Street-Forrest has led the Jamaica Stock Exchange, making Jamaicans at home and in the Diaspora proud. She dispels the myth that the financial sector is for men only. What’s even more awe-inspiring, is that she also leads her team to catch the vision and run with it. Her rise to the top has not been without its fair share of challenges but she is determined to press forward for the advancement of her beloved country, Jamaica.

Not only is Marlene’s work and worth a win for herself, but she is inspiring women all over to excel at their chosen path.

Here is a snippet of what Marlene shared:

“Every job is available to both male and female. What is observed is that more men are in the financial sector. Well, I’m not in a man’s job, I am in MY JOB!”

Hot Point:

Inspect what to Expect. Expect a result but also Inspect that the result is what you Expected.
