Episode 132 - Don Carter. Dan Sterenchuk and Tommy Estlund are honored to have as our guest, Don Carter. Don Carter is an expert in trauma, healing, and kindness, not only because he studies those facets of the human experience but because of his own life experiences. After leaving a decade-long career in law enforcement, Don dove deep into a healing journey that he calls “reclaiming [his] humanity”. He faced his experiences with PTSD, love, and suicide loss with radical vulnerability. This enabled him to “come alive again” through his engagement with the world as he gained insights about the transformative power of kindness. These insights and his genuine curiosity about what it means to be human and what the future holds for society at large, set the framework for his coaching and speaking businesses. The mission of his company — doncarter.co — is to empower people to shift their own perceptions about their world and to see that it is not as hostile as they may believe. It is Don’s belief that in so doing, people can create more freedom, joy, and happiness for themselves and others. Don Carter offers transformational coaching programs to those seeking to heal and live vibrantly through and after traumatic loss. He also serves mission-driven executives and leaders who seek to unlock the next level of their personal evolution and unleash their greatness into the world.
