This week, the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarch announced it has suspended the current Charter of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, calling for a new Charter. It also decided to transfer the Metropolitan of New Jersey and suspend the Metropolitan of Boston. Professor Alexander Kitroeff joins us to discuss his take on these latest developments.

Alexander Kitroeff is a Professor of History at Haverford College and the author of a number of books, including The Greek Orthodox Church in America: A Modern History.
