We speak about her experience leaving Jeddah for college in Montreal and ending up at art school in San Francisco, starting MMEAN - a platform to advocate for Middle Eastern artists, the cultural shifts that have occurred in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their impacts on the creative community at large, and how her art reflects our times and enables Zahra to be part of a greater collective of young Arabs archiving the real stories of what it means to be and to live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in the year 2020 and beyond.
