It's the 7th year anniversary of the podcast, but we don't mention this fact at all. Instead, Shawn is joined by his brother Robin via Skype for this first episode of 2021. We are back and better than ever. Prepare yourself for the full immersive experience of the Rusted Robot Podcast.

January is known as the wasteland for pop culture. Not a lot of news or trailers are released after the holidays. However, we have dug deep to bring you an entertaining show. The Full Immersive Experience is the 320th episode of the podcast.

After some general chitchat regarding the state of the world, we dive right into the pop culture landscape. We are talking about The History of Swear Words with Nic Cage on Netflix. We Can Be Heroes is getting a sequel. Robin talks about season 6 of Vikings. Shawn discusses the season finale of Star Trek Discovery. We wrap up The Mandalorian. Robin reviews Wonder Woman 1984. Clancy Brown will be the villain for Dexter season 9. Wandavision will be on Disney+ as of January 15. Batwoman returns for season 2 on the 17th.

In addition, we have a brief discussion about what's happening with Doctor Who. And we have the trailer for Coming 2 America which debuts on Amazon Prime as of March 5.

We wrap everything up with a chat about some celebrity deaths. This last week saw the final episode of Jeopardy with a touching tribute to Alex Trebek. We also lost Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells, Police Academy actress Marion Ramsay, and wrestling star Jon Huber (Brodie Lee).
