When Dorothy is swept away from her home in Kansas by a cyclone, she finds herself in a mysterious land inhabited by equally mysterious people. She is told that only Oz, the great Wizard, can help her get back home, so Dorothy sets off along the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City. Along the way she meets characters such as the brainless Scarecrow, the heartless Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion. (Summary by Rachel)

After a terrible tornado hits the Gale family’s Kansas farm, Dorothy Gale and her dog ToTo find themselves transported to the magical land of Oz. With the help of the Scarecrow, the Lion and the Tin Man, Dorothy battles the Wicked Witch of the West, finds the Wizard of Oz, and discovers there is no place like home. This Frank L. Baum children’s book served as the inspiration for the classic 1939 film.

100 years after L. Frank Baum's saga that began with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the Gale Family Farm sits abandoned in what's left of the great Kansas prairies. After her parents' messy divorce, Jessi Hugson and her mother move to Dorothy's old neighborhood for a new beginning. Things were already off to a shaky start, but when Jessi and her cousin Wallace find a jewel-studded bracelet in Dorothy's front yard...things get twisted. Twister'd, even.

Do you remember the first time you watched The Wizard of Oz? It’s an iconic film that offers both comfort and adventure. And it all begins with the magical ruby slippers. The familiar pair of red shoes that sparkle as Dorothy skips down the yellow brick road. One of the most famous props in Hollywood movie history, Dorothy’s ruby slippers are a rare collector’s item worth millions. In the summer of 2005, a pair was stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in the small town of Grand Rapids, Minnes ...

In this podiobook: From the Reader, Jason Pomerantz:The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has been called "the first true American fairy tale" and it richly deserves the title. The story of Dorothy's epic journey through a strange land, filled with terrifying enemies and loyal allies, resonates today as much as it did when it was first written, at the turn of the last century. You've probably seen the movie countless times, so you might not expect any surprises from the book. But when you listen, you'll ...

Dot and Tot of Merryland is a 1901 novel by L. Frank Baum. After Baum wrote The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, he wrote this story about the adventures of a little girl named Dot and a little boy named Tot in a land reached by floating on a river that flowed through a tunnel. The land was called Merryland and was split into seven valleys. (Summary by Wikipedia)

The “Little Wizard Stories of Oz” are six short stories written by L. Frank Baum in 1913. By all accounts, Baum intended to finish the Oz series with “The Emerald City of Oz,” published in 1910. Following that, he attempted to write non-Oz books, publishing “The Sea Fairies” in 1911 and “Sky Island” in 1912. But, (as Baum himself laments in the prefaces of many of his Oz books,) his “little tyrants” were only interested in hearing more Oz stories. So in 1913, he returned to writing about Oz, ...
