Back in 2008, Maria Fung graduated during the height of the economic recession. Despite the rough start, she used the opportunity to kickstart her own business and built up her freelancing writing and design career in the UK and Singapore. She shared her story of resilience and resourcefulness and how to use the downturn to your advantage to pivot and grow your business and career.

As a freelance graphic designer and writer, Maria Fung gains inspiration from anything that takes her creativity to the next level. She has lent her magic touch to brands like LinkedIn, Golden Village, Aviva and ION Orchard. Maria also loves to create her own handicrafts and D.I.Y makeover projects.
