But when you tell yourself that getting what you want is so far down the road or only possible for others, you create distance between where you are now and what you desire. This self-sabotaging of your desires only serves to hold you back from receiving what you want and affirm the self-limiting beliefs you are telling yourself - whether you realize it or not.
