Caroline Rose and Jacob have a discussion about the present - and future - of the Middle East. What are Russia and China's interest in the region? How likely (and how soon) are they going to act on those interests? Why is Turkey in its current position, and will it remain a part of NATO? These questions and more.

Caroline Rose is a Senior Analyst and Head of the Power Vacuums program in the Human Security unit at the Newlines Institute. Prior to joining the Newlines Institute, Caroline served as an analyst at the forecasting firm and publication, Geopolitical Futures, where she worked on political, economic, and defense developments in the Middle East and Europe with a focus on the Eastern Mediterranean and the Levant.
