Episode 46 with Emily Olsen.

"There were those days where I'd black out a little and get everything done on my to-do list, and then wonder, Am I manic?"

Emily is a digital broadcast journalist for Global News in Saskatchewan. She has spent a lot of her career connecting with people and facilitating others to share their stories …and is finally settling into the task of telling her own.

We talk about her ADHD diagnosis in her early 20s during her time in an eating disorder recovery program, and we talk shop about journalism and how it can be such an ideal career in many ways for those of us with ADHD. And we also talk about the emotional toll journalism can take especially when you’re sharing intense stories and also receiving negative feedback and criticism and how we’ve each dealt with all of the overwhelming feelings in general.
